The Forest Health Advisory Council was established in 2003, after the First Annual Conference on Forest Health. The event resulted in the creation of the Forest Health Advisory Council and the Governor’s Forest Health Oversight Council. In 2007, these Councils were disbanded, and the Arizona Forest Health Council was established and given the charge of developing and implementing the Statewide Strategy for Restoring Arizona’s Forests.
